Discuss your hometown communities as a team.

Identify three underserved populations from those communities that your team would like to explore further.

Create a 12- to 15-slide Microsoft^® PowerPoint^® presentation in which you develop an outreach plan to provide human services support for each special population. Consider how to reduce bias in the delivery of the outreach plan and how to use diversity skills.Include information for three individual outreach plans in this presentation, each specific to a different special population.

Include the following components for each outreach plan population:

 I need 3 slides 

·       A design to approach each special population while reducing ramifications of bias

·       A discussion about how the special population fits into the Racial Identity Development Model

A description of how you would use diversity skills to reach and communicate with the currently underserved populations

Outreach Plan Presentation

In this assignment, the Learning Team will compile information for three outreach plans, each specific to a different special population. The Outreach Plan Presentation should provide information to Human Services Workers to assist when working with members of that special population in the community.

The Learning Team must clearly state their plan for reaching out to their identified special populations. Their work should incorporate an understanding of the specific bias concerns related to each of the special populations, as well as what strategies are likely to be more effective and why, based on the culture’s value system. The Learning Team must include a discussion about how they would use the diversity skills to more effectively serve this population.
